I'm Winny de Jong, a journalist who interviews data tables next to people, trying to find the next big news story.
Currently, I work as a data journalist at the Dutch newspaper NRC. Next to that, I try to carve out time to teach data literacy, data-driven investigative reporting, and Python programming.
I also cocreated Dutch guides Als Het Ongeveer Maar Klopt explaining how to understand data, and explaining how to communicate data, and multiple free, online courses like Python for Journalists.
